Enjoy a self drive boating holiday aboard our classic Dutch Barge on the picturesque River Thames.

Magpies and Butterflies has been lovingly restored to make our boat into a ‘country cottage on the water’ but with lots of technology including WIFI and ipad pro’s.

It’s a quirky escape for those in need of something a bit different.

Being on the water and surrounded by nature is not only relaxing but good for the soul! In a picturesque part of Berkshire, there are many walks, pubs, restaurants and art galleries to enjoy when you choose somewhere to moor.

This is our second stay at this lovely apartment, and I continue to be impressed. It’s clean, and well-located near Liverpool Street, and the hosts are incredibly responsive. We had a minor refrigerator issue, but they fixed it quickly. Highly recommend!

We recently spent 2 weeks in one of Angela’s flats in South Kensington. The flat is a great property and very well kept. We had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. Angela was easy to work with and responded timely. The front office manager was also very friendly and informative about the flat. The location of the flat is in the South Kensington area and a short walk to the Gloucester tube station. The location turned out to be perfect for our stay. We had 2 grocery stores, a drug store, tube station, dry cleaners, and multiple restaurants and bakery/coffee shops close by. I would definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable flat that looks like the pictures. Much roomier than any hotel nearby. It’s in a great location, within a couple of minutes walk to Spitalfields or Liverpool Street. Loads of food options within walking distance. With the Elizabeth Line, it’s very easy to get to from Heathrow.

Me and my family enjoyed staying at this property so much. It was super clean, super spacious and there’s many places and food around the area. The place just felt like home. The staff is super friendly and super attentive to all my questions. Very fast responsive with great hospitality. Would 100% recommend to stay at Crown Lawn property.

It’s a modern apartment with a great location, about 2 blocks from the Gloucester Road Underground which includes the Piccadilly line so it’s easy to get to & from Heathrow. We rented primarily for the location and thus never used the kitchen. The bedroom has air conditioning for those who are concerned about such things (being mid-May we didn’t use that either). The host is attentive, and the apartment layout and location are all great. Highly recommended.
